Our Mission

PNGtoJPG was built with a single goal: make image conversion simple, fast, and completely private. No accounts, no file uploads, no limitations. Just open the site, drop your images, and convert.

We believe your files are yours. That's why PNGtoJPG converts everything locally in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API — your images never leave your device.

Why We Built This

Most online image converters upload your files to remote servers. This is slow, uses your bandwidth, and — most importantly — puts your private photos in someone else's hands. We built PNGtoJPG to solve this problem.

By leveraging modern browser technology, we can offer the same conversion quality as server-based tools, but with complete privacy and significantly faster conversion speeds.

Our Technology

PNGtoJPG is built entirely with web standards — HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript. We use the HTML5 Canvas API to render and re-encode images. No external libraries, no frameworks, no dependencies. This keeps the site fast and secure.

All conversion happens in your browser's memory. We don't use Service Workers to cache your images, and we don't use localStorage to store any image data. When you close or refresh the page, your images are gone from our tool.

Privacy Commitment

We collect:

• Anonymous analytics — page views and conversion counts (via Google Analytics, no personal data)
• Contact form submissions — only if you choose to contact us

We do not collect, store, or process any image files. Ever.
